Good to know about Canon printers

Support codes

Canon printers show a four-digit support code on their screen or in the app when something goes wrong. Search the code on Canon’s support site with your model — it tells you exactly what the printer is reporting (for example a paper jam location or ink problem).

Ink absorber messages

A message that the ink absorber is almost full or full means internal parts have reached their service limit. That needs Canon service or a repair shop — it isn’t something software can fix, and we’ll tell you so.
