This policy explains how HelpMeFixPrinter (“we”), operated by [Your Legal Business Name LLC], handles personal information.
Information we collect
- When you call or email us: your phone number, name, email address, and details about your printer and computer that you share.
- During a remote session (only if you agree): what’s visible on your screen while the session is active. We don’t copy your files.
- Payments: handled by our payment processor. We don’t store full card numbers.
- Website: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) kept for security and troubleshooting.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to tell us how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and taps on our phone number). Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies.
- Live chat: if you use the chat window, the messages you send and basic technical details (browser, page you’re on) are processed by our chat provider, LiveChat, so we can reply. Please don’t share passwords or card numbers in chat.
The pre-call checklist runs entirely in your browser. Its answers are not sent to us or to Google Analytics.
How we use it
- To provide the support you asked for and follow up on it.
- To process payments and keep required business records.
- To improve our guides and service.
If we record calls for quality, we tell you at the start of the call.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it except with service providers who help us operate (such as payment and phone providers) or when required by law.
Retention and your choices
We keep support records only as long as needed for the service and legal requirements. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing support@helpmefixprinter.com. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, which we honor.
Children
Our service is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
